The Vikings are to report to Mankato for a three-week training camp on Thursday afternoon. The Free Press has already begun coverage of their arrival by taking a look at some of this season's storylines.

All eyes will be on first-round draft pick Matt Kalil (pictured) during training camp, as he tries to strengthen the Vikings' offensive line.

While the Vikings addressed a need on the line, they're hoping that leftover pieces can improve at linebacker.

Jared Allen had a huge season with 22 sacks a year ago, falling just shy of the sack record. That mark is on his mind but so is getting more wins.

Chad Courrier opines that this is the season in which the Vikings must turn things around.
