Saturday links

Pat Christman/The Free Press
Looking for Vikings Training Camp coverage? Here's what's in Saturday morning's edition of The Free Press:

* Erin Henderson (pictured) is now patrolling the field from the middle linebacker position, a job once held by his older brother. E.J. Henderson certainly was a big influence on his little brother, but Erin is now becoming his own man in Minnesota.

* The Training Camp Notebook begins with a look at Rochester native Marcus Sherels, who seems to hang on to his kick-return duties, no matter who gets a look (and a little hype) at the job during camp.

* Another note from the Notebook concerns tonight's scrimmage at Blakeslee Stadium. Based on attendance so far this week, there should be a good crowd there, and that's what coach Leslie Frazier wants, as he expects somewhat of a game-like situation under the lights. There will be a normal practice followed by some live (but little contact) scrimmaging. Don't expect to see a lot of Adrian Peterson during those sessions, but quarterback Christian Ponder will get a few series, Frazier said.
